Sea containers
Whether you have full container load (FCL), less than container load (LCL) or non-containerised load, we have sea containers to match your needs. Through our sea freight carriers we are able to offer a vast and modern fleet of sea containers, from dry containers, temperature controlled reefer containers to special equipment. The correct sea container and correct container stuffing will allow you to pack more in a container and transport your cargo more safely. The following is a list along with photographs and specifications of various types of containers that are used in the containerized cargo movement business. The dimensions listed below are intended as a guide only. There are differences in the dimensions between containers produced by various manufacturers.
Dry containers 20' and 40' (general purpose) are manufactured from either aluminium or steel. They are suitable for most types of cargo. Aluminium dry containers have a slightly larger payload than steel, and steel dry containers have a slightly larger internal cube.

Specific dimensions and capacity of dry containers may vary depending on the container manufacturer, the age of the container and the container owner. The specifications listed below are, however, representative.
High cube dry containers ensure that you gain an extra foot in height compared with dry containers. The high cube dry containers are ideal for light, voluminous or bulky cargo. These extra volume containers are made in 40' and 45' sizes in steel and aluminium.

Reefer containers or refrigerated containers are used to transport goods requiring temperature-controlled conditions in transit, such as fruit, vegetables, dairy products and meat. It is fitted with a refrigeration unit which is connected to the carrying ship's electrical power supply.
Reefer container dimensions
Specific dimensions and capacity of reefer containers (refrigerated containers) may vary depending on the container manufacturer, the age of the container and the container owner. The specifications listed below are, however, representative.
Open top containers have an open top covered by a tarpaulin instead of a solid roof. This enables oversized cargo such as timber and scrap metal to be loaded from the top. Open top containers normally have end doors to give flexibility to loading and discharging operations.

Garments on hangers (GOH) containers give customers the option of using a string or bar system, or a combination of both. The GOH containers offer increased flexibility, greater internal load capacity and savings on transportation and handling costs. GOH containers are available in 20' and 40' sizes.
